In his second solo exhibition DI•VISION, Dimitris Naiplis (N_Grams) presents a composition of visual & street artworks, that reflect his vision and love for art.
His artworks coming from different eras of his twenty-year discourse, yet joined together with an inner narrative, introduce all the techniques he has discovered and applied in his art throughout time.
Experimentations with diverse materials, different techniques and constructions, revisiting and reconceptualisation of fundamental principles compose a well-structured, yet subtractive body of work. Spray cans, valves, linear figures, minimal designs, masses and densities, guide us through the two dimension graffiti into the 3D world, manifesting that street culture can definitely create fine art.
